New Beginnings Meditation

December 11, 2023

Believe it or not, we are teetering on the end of  2023. In fact, we are twenty days out. TWENTY!

A common practice this time of year is setting New Year’s resolutions. I’m going to be honest about “resolutions” – I hate that word. It’s rigid and stubborn. It makes me feel a sense of militance.

I replace this word with “goal”. They’re basically synonyms, but to me, the latter seems more unguarded and inviting. It seems more open-ended where anything could happen, and that’s a GOOD thing! I promise you, that on a journey towards any goal, it will not look like what you think it’s going to look like. Embrace that.

This is a time of looking forward and embracing the unknown because you have no idea what's waiting for you. Uncertainty brings possibility. Embrace that, too.

This is a 3- minute meditation that I created for new beginnings that I want to share with you. This meditation is meant for clearing our paths for change, recharge and renewal. A new beginning doesn’t have to mean brand new, it can simply mean to start over, or pick up where you left off, but that doesn’t mean negative-energy-carry-over. This meditation is also for leaving things in 2023 that aren’t meant to come with us into 2024.

For this meditation, I’ll be using a chrysoprase stone, which is an excellent stone for new beginnings. I encourage you to use one, or any stone that syncs with your energy. More so, use a stone that correlates with a specific goal that you have for the new year.

Dear Source and Universe:

Wrap me in the uncertainty of new beginnings.

Envelope me with fresh opportunities.

Blanket me with prospects and possibilities.

Cloak me from anything not meant for me.

Drape me in the ability to let go of the old and make room for the new.

*sit in silence for one minute*

I believe in your plan for me.

I trust in your vision for me.

I follow your path for me.

I open my heart to your love for me.

*sit in silence for one minute*

I believe in your plan for me.

I trust in your vision for me.

I follow your path for me.

I open my heart to your love for me.

I open my heart to your love for me.

Practice this meditation as many times as you would like, until you feel it to be true. Share this script with others so they, too, can have new beginnings.

Sincere love to you all.

Namaste
